Robert John Ardiff is best known for his work as part of the Choice Music Prize nominated Come On Live Long. In a quiet period for the band he decided to write and record an album of his solo work. The album entitled ‘Between The Bed and Room’ was hailed by the Sunday Times as ‘a record of wistful wee hour gems’ and by The Last Mixed tape as ‘a distant sounding take on the indie-folk genre awash with texture and depth.’. Following on from his sold out show in The Grand Social in January, Ardiff is delighted to bring his full band show to the intimate environs of Upstairs in Whelans. His debut album “Between the Bed and Room” is out now. His latest single “Paint Your Nails” can be found here;
“Ardiff’s venture into a solo project will not just be a compliment to his other work, but a noteworthy collection in its own right”. – The Thin Air
“A textured, melodic and warm offering; ‘The Fall’ is a testament to Ardiff’s notoriety as a songwriter and performer.” – Golden Plec
