  • Guinness Zero Draught Non-Alcoholic Beer - Porter

    Pint: €5.701/2 Pint: €2.90ABV: 0.0% IBU: 28

To create Guinness 0.0, the St James’s Gate brewers start by brewing Guinness exactly as they always have, using the same natural ingredients; water, barley, hops and yeast; before gently removing the alcohol through a cold filtration method. The cold filtration process allows the alcohol to be filtered out without presenting thermal stress to the beer, protecting the integrity of its taste and character. The brewers then carefully blend and balance the flavours to ensure the distinctive flavour profile and taste characteristics of Guinness. The resulting product is a stout that is unmistakably Guinness, just without the alcohol, featuring the same dark, ruby red liquid and creamy head, hints of chocolate and coffee.

  • Carlsberg Lager Pilsner - Other

    Pint: €7.001/2 Pint: €3.50ABV: 4.3% IBU: 8

Probably the best beer in the world, and the flagship brand in Carlsberg Group's portfolio. A regular in millions of bars across 140 countries worldwide, it is a truly international beer brand. Hordeum vulgare. That’s the Latin name for barley, but there’s nothing vulgar about it. In fact, it is a rather special malting barley we use. We have our own Barley Breeding Group, which works in close contact with our brewmasters. The group selects the barley with the best traits and grows it in our research fields, using only traditional breeding methods, 100% free of genetic modifications. Considering that Carlsberg is made from 100% pure malt i.e. no adjuncts it could take some years before we breed the necessary amount of barley. Probably worth the effort. Hops are our secret ingredient. Of course it is no secret that we use hops in our beer, but the types we use are prepared according to a secret recipe that’s exclusive to us. It’s called the Carlsberg Aroma Hop Extract and nobody but us at Carlsberg can use it. After all, there can only be one best beer in the world. Yeast is at the heart of our history. In 1879, Carlsberg was the first brewery to produce a purified brewer’s yeast, the Saccharomyces Carlsbergensis. Since then we’ve been constantly working to improve our yeast’s taste and the stability of our beer. We do it by using a classic breeding method, which means it can take up to 20 trials and several years to obtain a new yeast strain that’s good enough for brewing

  • Duvel Belgian Strong Golden Ale

    33ml Bottle: €8.00ABV: 8.5% IBU: 33

Duvel is a natural beer with a subtle bitterness, a refined flavour and a distinctive hop character. The unique brewing process, which takes about 90 days, guarantees a pure character, delicate effervescence and a pleasant sweet taste of alcohol. Apart from pure spring water, which is the main ingredient of beer, barley is the most important raw material. Barley must germinate for five days in the malt house, after which malt remains. The colour of the malt and as a consequence also of the beer is determined by the temperature. Duvel obtains its typical bitterness by adding various varieties of aromatic Slovenian and Czech hops. We use only exclusive hops that are renowned for their constant, outstanding quality. Duvel ferments for the first time in tanks at 20 to 26°C. The brewer uses his own culture for this. The original yeast strain, which Victor Moortgat himself selected in the 1920’s, originates from Scotland. After maturing in storage tanks in which the beer is cooled down to -2°C, the drink is ready for bottling. Thanks to the addition of extra sugars and yeast, the beer ferments again in the bottle. This occurs in warm cellars (24°C) and takes two weeks. Then the beer is moved to cold cellars, where it continues to mature and stabilise for a further six weeks. This extra long maturation period is unique and contributes to the refined flavour and pure taste of Duvel.

Impish as ever, the gnomes kept quiet about the incident. Surprised to discover a glowing, ruby-tinted beer with a fruity taste, the master brewer decided to bottle it up. Enjoy Cherry CHOUFFE carefully to avoid staining your beard and always drink it in delightful company.

  • Knappogue Castle 14 Year Old Single Malt

    35.5ml: €9.00ABV: 46%

Master winner at the Irish Whiskey Masters 2023! This is both richer and more complex than the standard twelve year old Knappogue Castle. Named 'Twin Wood' because both Bourbon and Sherry cask types have been used for the maturation. It seems that the sherry casks have added to the body and depth and also brought some spice and dried fruit flavours. Like most of the current Knappogue Castle whiskeys this was made using unpeated, triple distilled single malt whiskey from a Northern Irish distillery. Limited numbers were made of this whiskey and it is bottled un-chilfiltered and at 46%.

With over 200 years’ distilling heritage, Beefeater Gin was born and bred in the heart of London, where it remains today, as the only historic dry gin still distilled in the city.

  • Beefeater Pink Strawberry

    35.5ml: €6.80ABV: 37.5%

Beefeater Pink Strawberry is our vibrant strawberry gin. It’s made using the same recipe as the original Beefeater London Dry (The World’s Most Awarded Gin), with an infusion of natural strawberry flavouring to give it a fruity, strawberry twist. The soft fruit flavours of strawberry tune perfectly with the classic notes of juniper and citrus to produce a finely balanced contemporary London gin with a hit of sweet strawberry.
