Pa Curran is a Singer/Songwriter, based in Bantry, Co Cork. He is a school teacher with an extraordinary ability to write songs and a highly regarded singer who released his debut single “Unintentional hero” to the nation on July 4th 2014 .The song is dedicated to his lifelong friend and fellow musician, Taidhg Burke-Neff, who died in a tragic accident in October 2013.It made the top 20 in the Official Irish Charts and held the number 1 spot for a week in the Itunes Singer-Songwriter charts displacing none other than Hozier’s ‘Take Me To Church’

Niamh Crowther has announced a live show in Whelans, Dublin on 9th September to celebrate her widely acclaimed new EP.
* New Artist of the Week “her forthcoming EP further compounds the “one to watch” tag.” – The Irish Times
* “The day has become even sunnier thanks to ‘I’ll Be’, the first taster from Niamh Crowther’s eponymous EP” – Hotpress
* “Heartwrenching… Beautifully pitched vocals.. tastefully arranged strings” – BBC Radio Ulster
The two tracks “Little by Little” and “I’ll Be” have been generating lots of radio play in Ireland and the UK, including being playlisted on national radio and supported by a TV appearance.
Niamh came to prominence aged 16, when she beat over 15,000 other young people to claim the prestigious Youth Music Awards. The accompanying rave reviews and talk about town earned her “one to watch” accolades from the media. A succession of well received singles further enhanced her reputation. Her EP has so far amassed 400,000 streams on Spotify
On the live front Niamh has won new fans whilst supporting PictureHouse, Blink, Mundy and appearing at events and festivals like LeCheile, St Patrick’s Festival and “A Night for Pieta House” in the Olympia Theatre. Then there was the time she was invited to sing onstage with Richie Sambora on her 18th birthday.

Formed in early 2014, Solid Sun introduced the Irish rock music scene to their ear-catching heavy tones with a highly successful tour later that year in support of Acca Dacca, the world’s foremost ACDC tribute act.
With gritty sonic depth, Irish songwriter Marc O’Reilly attacks his muse with a bipolar verve that swings from reflection to sheer riotous joy. Backed by the tightest band in Christendom, rare and beautiful songs slam into wild blues fragments
TADGH’s brand new single complimented by a beautifully crafted piece of artwork (above) gives us just a taste of what’s to come from this refreshing and exciting new Irish artist.
The track itself is a warm, vibrant pop anthem with edgy hooks and a huge chorus.
“Created using broom handle cigar box banjo, dobro, bass drum, hi-hat and harmonica, the music of Lucy & Wayne and The Amairican Stream by US duo Hymn For Her, proves categorically that you don’t need a megabuck budget to create some high-end kick-ass boogie. Recorded in the classic sixteen-foot 1961 Bambi Airstream trailer (caravan) that they call home, it’s an impossible-to-categorise and unforgettable sonic wall of banjo-thrash-country-rock-acid-blues of the sort that you could imagine Jack White having on his iPod”. – UK’s R2 (Rock ‘n’ Reel) magazine
Hymn for Her have been busy touring across the country and abroad over the past few years, injecting juiced-up backwoods country blues with a dose of desert rock psychedelia that has been described as “Hell’s Angels meets the Amish.”
They recorded their 2nd album, “Hymn for Her Presents . . . Lucy and Wayne and the Amairican Stream”, in their vintage 1961 Bambi Airstream trailer at locations stretching from Philadelphia to Malibu on a three-month tour.
For their latest release, “Hymn for Her Presents . . . Lucy and Wayne’s Smokin Flames”, the twosome kicked it into high gear. They traveled to Ghetto Recorders in Detroit to work with Jim Diamond.
They recorded live and mixed 12 original songs in just one week.
The duo certainly covers a lot of musical territory in Smokin Flames. Their wild-eyed mash-up of country, blues and punk led U.K. music critic Steve Bennett to call H4H’s sound “a riotous, rocking roadkill stew,” while others have referenced such diverse bands as Captain Beefheart, Primus, X, R.L. Burnside, JS Blues Explosion and the Ramones.
Impressively, the two create their “ripsaw sounds” (Los Angeles Times’ Randy Lewis) with only a few instruments. Wayne (with the devilish voice), mainly playing the kick-drum, high-hat, acoustic guitar and harp, serves as the group’s rhythmic driving force. Lucy (of the fallen-angel voice) delivers a gritty squall on her “Lowebow” — a custom-made cigar-box guitar: “The Riff Monster.”
Catch this duo as they burn down the highway and tear up your town like a Wichita twister.

Holy Fuck took the world by surprise around 2005 because there was just nothing like them—a hardcore thrift-store found-object punk band with a relentless commitment to rhythm and a sense for atmosphere better matched to a close encounter of the third kind than a simple rock concert.
Dermot hails from Buncrana in the Inishowen peninsula, the most northerly part of Donegal, and has played accordion since a very young age, having learned from his father Tomás O’Beirn, who comes from Teileann area of South West Donegal, and is an enthusiastic promoter of the tradition. Dermot had the good fortune to meet all the greats of Donegal music, including Johnny Doherty, Con Cassidy and Tommy Peoples, Danny Meehan and many more, and they made a great impact on the young Dermot, who went on to develop a unique style. His seemingly effortless playing, combined with great subtlety, and a faultless ear, makes him one of the great accordion players of his generation. As well as his mastery of the Donegal style and repertoire, Dermot can turn with ease to other styles and traditions such as French musette, or South American choro music. He guested on two Altan recordings “The Red Crow” and “Island Angel” before joining the band in 1994.
Dermot has guested on collaborations with many great musicians including Seamus and Manus McGuire, Sharon Shannon, Salsa Celtica, Steeve Cooney, Dezi Donelly, Brid Harper, Frankie Gavin, Tommy Peoples, Pierre Schryer, Tim O’Brien and the late jazz violinist, Stephane Grappelli. He recently recorded a duet CD with French Harpist Floriane Blancke
