The Underscore Orkestra plays a blend of Balkan, Klezmer, Gypsy Jazz and Swing music both Original and Traditional. They Feature Live Belly Dance in the show. The band’s Eastern European sound is sort of a mix between Gypsy rock big guns DeVotchKa and Gogol Bordello. They’ve got the very ethnic sound of the former, and though they play fast, it’s not at the manic punk level of the latter.
