Brooklyn three-piece The Lone Bellow released their stunning 2nd album ‘Then Came The Morning’ on Febuary 2 2015. The new album, released through Descendant Records / Sony RED, follows on from their critically acclaimed self-titled debut and was produced by Aaron Dessner of The National (Sharon Van Etten / Local Natives). On producing the album, Aaron Dessner says “producing the Lone Bellow’s new record was absolutely one of my favorite musical projects to have ever been involved in. I was able to record the band exactly how I had envisioned, capturing all of the vocals live in a church in upstate NY. The organic foundation we had made all of the production work we did in my studio in Brooklyn that much easier and fun.”

In support of the new album, The Lone Bellow have announced a new live show at Whelan’s, Dublin on 29th July, 2015.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, with deep family and musical roots in Georgia, the fast-rising acoustic trio The Lone Bellow is proving, show by show, that the sounds and stories of Main Street resonate on Main Streets everywhere, winning fans across America and now around the world with their particular brand of ‘Brooklyn country’.

“The heart of the Lone Bellow’s appeal is its close harmonies: three singers whose timbers meld seamlessly even at full volume” – New York Times

“Charismatic, photogenic, endlessly hooky – The Lone Bellow has been the complete package from day one.” – NPR

“The Lone Bellow could just be the next worldwide alt-country breakout band” – Shortlist

“The Lone Bellow have made a fantastic leap here, distancing themselves from the post-Mumford hordes and proving that a certain class of stately indie rock is still capable of sounding fresh and vital.” – Stereogum
