Wicklow R&B artist RTL.Bluuwoods announces headline Whelan’s show

Wicklow based R&B, soul and hip-hop artist RTL combines captivating melodies with layered lyrics over darker, trap-driven beats

, to create a unique sound befitting the modern Irish artist.

Through self-referential introspection the self-produced vocalist addresses issues such as mental health, the creative process and ‘the uncertainty of the road less travelled’, crafting his own unique perspective and shaping a multifaceted identity through the experimental use of his own voice.

The young MC draws heavy influence from a broad spectrum of artists old and new, from Robert Frost to Frank Ocean and the modern wave of alternative hip-hop.

After releasing his stunningly poignant debut EP ‘432_uncertainty’ in 2018, the vocalist/producer RTL is slowly but surely carving out his place amongst the immensely talented freshmen of the rapidly emerging Irish hip-hop scene.

RTL.Bluuwoods will play Whelan’s on Friday November 22nd with tickets from €12.80 on sale Friday 23rd August at 10am
