Fundraiser Gig upstairs at Whelan’s, 25 Wexford Street, Dublin 2 next Saturday 05 February 2011. Special guests lending their musical talents for the night include ‘80s rock/pop band, The Spectrums, and Latin funk and blues four-piece, Captain Magic.
All proceeds raised on the night will go directly towards maintaining the support services of Aware which are set up to combat depression of thousands of people nationwide. [See http://www.aware.ie].
An entertaining night is guaranteed at this event with three up-and-coming, lively Dublinbased music acts performing throughout evening’s festivities; there will be drinks promotions during the evening, thanks to Whelan’s; you have the chance to bag yourself some really cool prizes during the raffle; and, of course, you will be helping to raise much needed funds towards a worthy cause – all in the one night too!
Only €10 per person. Doors open at 7:00pm and the gig starts at 8:00pm. Admission is payable on the door on the night.
