Making a big impact on UK radio Dublin native Miles Graham together with his gritty and cutting edge band makes a rare Dublin appearance at Whelan’s.
Since being playlisted on BBC Radio 2 in January /February Miles Graham has come from no place to being the latest rising Irish talent across the water in addition to this, over 30 regional UK radio stations playlisted the Dubliner who now resides in Sligo
Many top national UK radio presenters including, Graham Norton, Dermot O Leary, Jo Whiley, Jonathan Ross, have giving regular spins and raving about the Irish singer on BBC Radio and now the career of Miles Graham is set to go to a new level as he is a featured artist on the new single from the renowned house/dance artists L’Tric which is due for release in January 2016
Even the respected Cerys Matthews MBE on BBC 6 Music, has been raving about the talented soul singer comparing him to Ed Sheeran and Pharrell Williams and after his recent appearance at London’s KPH music venue owed by Irish promoter Vince Power another stalwart Miles Graham fan
2015 has been quite an incredible year so far. Miles and his profile has been steadily growing in Britain,this was accelerated by a spellbinding live performance on Weekend Wogan on BBC Radio 2 in January.
In May 2015 Miles was invited by the Grammy awarding artist Beth Hart to be special guest on her UK tour ,taking in prestigious venues like, The Barbican – London, Philharmonic Hall – Liverpool, O2 – Glasgow & Leeds, The Corn Exchange – Cambridge and many others with rave reviews further evidence of his growing profile.
Miles Grahams growing profile across the water was also enhanced when Grahams was playlisted on BBC Radio 2 for 5 weeks with his current single ‘I Can’t Love You Again.” ,a phenomenal achievement for the talented, soulful performer.
At home Miles Graham has also came to the attention of national radio in Ireland being playlisted twice on RTE Radio 1 and being invited for live sessions on Today FM and many other regional radio stations across Ireland.
His band is equally outstanding with Dubliner, Scott Kohlmann on guitar, Barry Donoghue on bass (Galway) & Eoin Redmond on drums. Expect an exciting gritty funky sound with well-crafted songs from four consummate musicians.
