The Klares is a four piece indie rock band based in Dublin. They’ve been together since 2012 and write their own music and lyrics. Members are Andy Burke (vocals and rhythm guitar), Jordan Lawless (bass and backing vocals), Eoin O’Shea (lead guitar and backing vocals) and Cormac Sheridan (drums and backing vocals).
They followed winning the Hot Press magazine Big Break school’s award in May 2015 with the release of their second EP Cookoo on 31 May 2015. Positive reviews flowed with Unsigned & Independent music mag saying “…could very well be the first Irish band in a generation to actually get excited about”. They also gave Cookoo the accolade of 2nd top Irish EP of 2015. Cookoo received radio play across the country, as well as in the UK and USA. A highlight was performing a session for The Fergal D’Arcy Show, Today FM.
In April 2016, The Klares released Sparks Alone to critical acclaim with Unsigned and Independent music mag saying “10/10..what a great tune from a band certain to go on to bigger things”, while Dublin Concerts said, “Unfazed by the hype surrounding their precocious emergence on the Irish music scene, the young Dubliners have steadily separated from their influences, pushing toward their own original sound. ‘Sparks Alone’ marks the latest step in their artistic development, a band growing more refined, without losing any of the youthful exuberance that distinguished their prior releases.”

A four piece Indie Pop/Rock band from the outskirts of Monaghan town. They formed in early 2015 and have been playing gig after gig since, from headlining Muckno Mania in the summer, to supporting voice of Ireland winner ‘Brendan McCahey’.
The band consist of Keelan O’Reilly (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Peter Toal (Drums), Colin Peppard (Bass, Backing Vocals) and Ben Goddard (Lead Guitar). They recorded their debut single ‘Black Cats’ in October, which was released in November.
