Building a song from a foundation of the ukulele and a percussive music box with her loop pedal, she provides beatbox vocals in a folk song with a twist. It’s fascinating to watch and its good stuff, quite unlike anything else that’s going on around the festival.  – Justin McDaid, Goldenplec (HWCH)

‘Inni-K is a force to watch. She is more than a singer, more than a musician and she is both in great measure.’  – Liam Ó Maonlaí

Hotly tipped as one to watch in 2013, Inni-K is an innovative Indie-Folk singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Co. Kildare. With her uniquely beautiful voice and various instruments – piano, fiddle, ukelele – Inni-K skillfully manages to weave together these elements using electronic loops, single-handedly creating an atmosphere for her audience which is both uplifting and spine tingling.

Following the release of her EP ‘Gentle Star’ in 2012, Inni-K gained the attention of the media, being championed by 2fm’s Dan Hegarty, among others. ‘Gentle Star’ was described as ‘a winsome clutch of inventively arranged, instantly catchy songs’, by Time Out New York. Inni-K also featured on Other Voices, and was selected for Camden Crawl Dublin and HWCH in 2012. She has recently shared the stage with both Efterklang and Wallis Bird at The Cork Opera House; Hothouse Flowers; This is how we fly and Gavin Glass, among others. Inni-K is currently working on her forthcoming album to be released in 2013. Don’t miss her first Dublin headline gig Upstairs at Whelan’s!
