In what must be the most exciting news since Chuck Norris grew his beard back, the world’s foremost bearded ambassadors The Beards are returning to Europe to continue their beard-themed rock n roll assault. After a slew of sold-out shows across the UK and Europe in May, the band will return in February 2014 to once again ostracize the clean-shaven and champion the cause of bearded folk far and wide.
According to the band, they convinced over 5 billion people to grow beard during the course of the last tour, however they are not about to rest on their bearded laurels. “Our work is far from done,” explains impressively-hirsute frontman Johann Beardraven. “We won’t rest until everyone in Europe – nay, the universe – has grown a beard”. As the title suggests, the Euro-bout To Grow A Beard Tour will be about ensuring that the public heeds the band’s ultra pro-beard message, backed up as always by their dynamic live shows, unparalleled musicianship and unique sense of humour.
With a brand new film clip creating fresh online buzz, a headlining USA & Canada tour already underway, and a brand new album in the pipeline, The Beards continue to go from strength to strength. With dates in England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Denmark and The Netherlands, the Euro-bout To Grow A Beard Tour will be their biggest and most exciting international tour yet.
