Ever since his first 8 piece (Lillis) line up over 10 years ago selling out venues such as The Academy 3 in Manchester when he was just 20 years old, John Lillis has been floating around parts of the world, collecting experiences of the love and colour he has searched and chased from country to continent. After 5 years touring and recording in Australia, he passed through the Middle-East and Eastern Europe finding himself back in Ireland to showcase the current recordings he now has under his belt. Touring Australia with successful acts such as, Pierce Brothers, The Beautiful Girls and many more. Then recording his most recent album in remote Australia with well-known engineer Michael Stavrou (Cat Stevens, Paul McCartney, Sting) backed up by the bass and drum powerhouse of Australian hard rockers Wolfmother. Australia and his travels have prepared Lillis to finally return home and share with his homeland the endurance, love and stories that have been experienced.
