The outrageously talented Cathy Davey announces her welcome-return to the Dublin stage for the first time in 18 months with a spectacular three night residency in Whelan’s on successive Thursdays in Feb starting on the 2nd
Each show will be unique in format, the first a full band show featuring music from her three critically lauded albums to date, the second a reprise of her Dublin Fringe Festival award winning show Songs That Scare Children, and Heroes, the final show, will feature Cathy singing the songs of her most beloved artists from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s such as Marlene Dietrich, Julie London and Jane Russell.
Cathy recently recorded a sumptuous and seasonalised version of the delightful ‘Bad Weather’ from the No1 selling album The Nameless, recorded live in St Mary of the Angels Church , Dublin with the Dublin Gospel Choir. Check it out HERE
