Shove are a four-piece Rock Band from Dublin Ireland. Formed in 2008 by Gary Brennan (Vocals, Guitar) and Garrett Hulgraine (Lead Guitar) the dream was to play the music they wanted to play. Fed up with ‘trends’ and ‘marketing’ the lads believed that people wanted to hear music from the soul, hard-hitting and more importantly, real. Hooking up with like minded and experienced individuals Ciaran O’Gorman (Bass) and John Peyton (Drums) Shove embarked on a dedicated writing and moulding period before bringing their vision to the people. The result was the highly acclaimed and extremely well received debut E.P ‘Come in from the Rain’ .

Since then the band have amassed a slew of electric performances on the Dublin Music Scene, commercial radio airplay and incredibly successful showings in high profile band competitions. It’s been a fruitful three years for a band that sees themselves as just getting started!

Now, Shove have just completed recording their brand new E.P ‘Breakdown’ in Salt Studios, Howth under the watchful eye of the legendary Frank Kearns. This now opens up a brand new and incredibly exciting phase for the band who have been compared to such legendary acts such as U2, Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters. The promise of a Shove gig? A night to remember, that’s the deal, no compromise….
