_WHELAN’S MAIN VENUE Facebook event 6PM- Caz9 “Caz9 is the electro pop reincarnation of an acoustic singer songwriter turned producer.” 8PM- Tanjier “Tanjier are an alt electro-pop band based in Dublin, Ireland. They formed in 2015 after meeting in university in Dublin.” 9PM- Synk “Synk are a Progressive band from Dublin, Ireland.” 10PM- Vernon Jane “A collection of expressive and eclectic musicians based in Dublin. Vernon Jane live and breathe for their craft. Live shows are where they flourish, taking influence from every bit of musical and visual beauty around them.” — — — — — _WHELAN’S UPSTAIRS Facebook event 9PM- Molly Sterling “Molly Sterling is an Irish singer songwriter. She represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song “Playing with Numbers.” 10PM- Ross Breen “Ross Breen is a solo artist from Kildare, Ireland and released his self-produced debut album When I Met The Devil in 2011 to widespread praise.” 11PM- Mongrel State “Mongrel State is a four-piece band from Dublin with a sound that incorporates a wide sonic palette – from Rockabilly to Rock, Latin-American grooves and Cinematic Western Scores. Aside from their unique songwriting, what really sets them apart is the fire, commitment and energy that goes into their live performances. ” 12AM- Rob Walsh “Rob walsh is songwriter and musician from Dublin Ireland. His songs tell tales of misspent adventure, lost friends & honest poetic observations on the way we live.” 1AM- Chancer “Instrumental band in Dublin. Formed in winter 2016. For fans of math/post rock, heft, and bangers.” — — — — —

_WHELAN’S MAIN VENUE Facebook event 8PM- Military Road “Military Road are a five piece band from Rathmines, Dublin. They Launched onto the music scene in 2016 racking up appearances in Whelans Ones to Watch, Sin E and at Electric Picnic. Their unique indie sound sets them appart, making them one of the most promising up and coming acts out there now. They have features on TodayFm with live appearances on Radio Nova and Dublin City Fm.” 9PM- Scoops “Their sound is described as rock/pop indie and their live shows are a must see. Their stage motto is simple GIVE ENERGY – GET ENERGY.” 10PM- Jem Mitchell “Jem Mitchell is a singer/songwriter from North East Dublin. Signed to A&M records America at 19 with Fire Water Creed Jem moved to Los Angeles to hone his songcraft. Having fronted a number of indie rock bands in the late 80’s/early 90’s and following a 14 year hiatus Jem has re-emerged onto the live music circuit and has been steadily gigging.” — — — — — _WHELAN’S FRONT BAR Facebook event 9PM- Beef Supreme “Beef Supreme are a 7 piece folkabilly acoustic rock band from Carlow, Ireland. Lining up with everything from Banjo to Fiddle to Electric Moustache to Melodica, Beef Supreme craft songs around traditional folk values; protest, love and freedom.” 10PM- The Dublin Blues Cartel “Dublin Blues Cartel formed a year and half ago, after a long association. They began playing every Monday in the Leeson Lounge, playing mostly a version of New Orleans R’n’B with a classic rock twist, sandwiched with swing, Rock’n’Roll, Soul, Funk, Blues and rap of all eras. Their sets consists of radical reworkings of well known R’n’B standards which segue into lengthy improvisations that are one minute, blues jazz crescendo, the next a funk dervish, one minute a pyschedelic freak out, next a country boogie twist, the next a dark ascension of Wagnerian majesty.”
