BIG SEPTEMBER

BIG SEPTEMBER

plus guests

The five-piece have just announced a nationwide tour which will also see them play the Groove Festival in Killruderry Estate in Bray, Co Wicklow where they will share the bill with Imelda May and James Morrison.

Big September’s latest top 40 hit, The Preacher, is predicted to become one of the anthems of the summer and has gained rave reviews, being described as “right for the summer, where its infectious chorus is an earworm of the highest order (and I mean that as a compliment)” by influential music review website, Popdose.

Organisers have said that tickets are moving fast and anyone interested in coming along should buy their tickets sooner rather than later for one of the most anticipated gigs of the year so far.

Big September have previously played the Guinness Storehouse for Arthur’s Day and St Patrick’s Day, and were hand-picked to support legendary rock band, Aslan.

They have also headlined Bray’s Summerfest and have sold out Dublin’s Whelan’s whenever they have played there.

Big September are singer/frontman Scott O’Neill; Graham “Naylor” O’Neill bass/songwriter; Dan Smith drummer; Cillian Duane lead guitarist; and Dave Butler rhythm guitarist/ vocals.

They describe themselves as a good old indie rock band with influences such as The Beatles, Oasis, The Clash, The Jam, The Rolling Stones, The Band, Ocean Colour Scene, Kings of Leon, The National, Mark Knopfler, Johnny Marr, Eric Clapton and Neil Young.
