Led by saxophonist and composer Nick Roth, Yurodny perform contemporary interpretations of traditional music from Eastern Europe and the Near East alongside new works from composers inspired by these traditions.

Fresh from a busy spate of performances/collaborations in Ireland, Switzerland and Turkey, Yurodny continue to push the envelope and explore further afield, with voyages into the worlds of Bela Bartok, nu-electronica, Dmitri Shostakovich, noise art and John Zorn, as well as continued investigation into Macedonian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Klezmer and Romanian traditional dance forms.”
