Sideline Fire are a four piece indie rock band based in Dublin. The band came together from the remnants of former band ‘Lineside Fire’, and began playing in Autumn 2016. Having all met in Bimm, the four began by playing Bimm’s Live and Lyrical Gig in Opium Rooms and have since headlined The Sound House and supported Sub Motion. Their sound is that of an early noughties- esque indie rock with powerful vocals, loud drums and a tight rhythm section, the band have been compared to artists such as Catfish and The Bottlemen, Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes. Sideline Fire are currently halfway through recording their debut EP ‘Seeing Double’ which is set to be released September 2017 following the release of their first single ‘Two People’. Sideline Fire have been described as ‘a dirtier version of The Smiths’ by Blink’s Dermot Lambert and are set for great things in the future.
