Mick Turner, the legendary guitarist for Dirty Three play’s Dublin’s Whelans on Friday 8 August. For this Performance he will be accompanied on drums by Mike Noga The Drones. Mike will also be playing a set of his own material. Also performing on the night are Adrian Crowley / Matthew Nolan (3epkano) / Kevin Murphy (Seti the First) Trio.

Australian artist and musician, known as guitarist with acclaimed instrumental group Dirty Three, along with being a seminal figure in Australian 1980’s post punk being a member of Venom P Stinger, Sick Things and Fungus Brains, has also lent his unique musical prose upon recordings by Catpower, Bonnie Prince Billy and Nick Cave

Mick has been making solo instrumental records since 1997 for Chicago label Drag City.

Now touring in support of his 5th solo album “Don’t tell the driver” released on Drag City records in November 2013.
