Ways of Seeing is the project of singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist James O’Donnell. The Kerry musician’s alternative rock sound was brilliantly executed on his debut album ‘End Comes To Light’, released in October 2022 to much critical praise and attention. It was recorded with the help of acclaimed producers; Christian Best (Mick Flannery), Alex Borwick (Rachel Lavelle) and Tommy Mclaughlin (Soak, Pillow Queens). Singles have received national radio airplay on 2fm (The Alternative w/ Dan Hegarty) and Newstalk (Tom Dunne Show). The album also featured on prominent music websites/magazines such as Nialler9 – “sounds a bit like War on Drugs” and The Goo Dublin – “the soundscapes are broad and lush…”. A four-piece band live, the Cork based Ways of Seeing are poised to win over many new followers having supported Cork legends The Frank and Walters and headlined the famous Listowel ‘Mike The Pies’ venue in 2023.
