SinSaol are an Irish Trad and Folk band from Gorey. They were formed in 2011 and have taken influences from a wide range of artists such as The Dubliners, The Mary Wallopers, Christy Moore, Johnny Cash and much more to create a sound that is both traditional and new, mixing traditional Irish music with folk, country and americana.
They have played across Ireland and Europe and were more recently seen across French news going viral while playing to crowds of hundreds of supporters in Nantes for the Rugby World Cup. They are just as suited to your classic session, swilling stout in the corner of an old bar as they are up on stage playing to hundreds of people. Their live shows are sure to get you up dancing and singing and you’re always welcome to get up and join if you bring your instrument or can sing a song. Make sure to catch them live next time you get the chance.
