Whelan’s Main Venue • Sat 4th November 2023

Dublin-based singer/songwriter Sammy Copley has grown up in a self-made spotlight. Inadvertently documenting his growth as a storyteller and a performer through weekly uploads to YouTube, his channel now has over a quarter of a million subscribers. Since self-releasing his first full-length body of work, the majestic Growing Pains in 2021, Copley has continued to hone his craft.

Pouring emotion into his soothing folk-inflected ballads, and building his sound out with the help of producer Nathan Cox, on the Little Box EP. The EP cemented Copley’s status as an indie darling at home in Ireland and further afield. With millions of streams, sold-out headline shows last year in Dublin and London, his first festival appearances in the bag plus support from the likes of RTE, Hot Press, NOTION Magazine, The Line Of Best Fit and Nialler9, Sammy will bring the Little Box era to a close with his forthcoming headline show.
