EVA CAMPBELL

Whelan’s Upstairs • Sun 16th July 2023

Rosenallis formed in 2021 as a duo and released a groovy blues-rock debut single “Fuego” at the end of that year – so far it’s a favourite among friends. Kevin O’Connor (vocals, guitar) and Kevin Clesham (drums) released five more tracks on music platforms since then including love song “Memory Factory”, and folk/rock “Mountain Ash” an ethereal glance back at historic Connemara. The biggest hit online was “Missed Your Call”.

The duo doubled to four members in 2023 after gig-hardened musicians Gustavo de Morais (lead guitar) and Vitor Moreno (bass) joined the Rosenallis project. The musical chemistry was obvious in the first rehearsal and already there are new songs to be recorded – but they’ll be played for you live first! The final Rosenallis duo-recorded track, “Heart of Revery” will be released on June 30th .

Dublin’s own Eva Campbell will be a strong support act Rosenallis. Eva released her debut single ‘Echo’ in October 2021 which went straight to No.1 on the Irish iTunes Top 100, amassing national radio airplay. This was closely followed by her second single ‘Stay’, and with Eva being tipped as one of Hot Press’ #Hotfor2022 Acts. More recently she has been collaborating with Cork-based James Mulcahy and she was selected to represent Spin1038 in the Finale of Irish Music Month’s #ANewLocalHero Competition in April 2023. Her sound is a blend of pop with a Celtic twist and meaningful lyrics, demonstrated with her new single ‘People’, produced by Grammy-nominated Billy Farrell & co-produced by the talented Brian McGrane (The Brave Collide), released on 14th April ‘23. Her powerful anti-bullying anthem was selected as Today FM’s ‘All Irish Track of the Week’ and has gained interest from numerous organizations across Ireland and the UK due to its powerful message.
