Powers Irish Whiskey’s iconic Golden Hours series returns with an incredible line up featuring some of Ireland’s finest trad musicians at Whelan’s, Dublin. The legendary music venue will play host to an exciting evening of song and story-telling on Tuesday, April 30th.

The latest show of the series sees the cream of Ireland’s vibrant trad scene come together to celebrate the very best in Irish culture, hosted by podcaster and acclaimed fiddle player/sean nós singer, Doireann Ní Ghlacáin.
Performing on the night is legendary sean nós singer and member of supergroup The Gloaming, Iarla Ó Lionáird who will share the stage with The Bonny Men, one of Ireland’s most talked about and exciting groups in the trad/folk music scene. Also joining these two acts on the evening will be internationally recognised fiddle player, Ciara Ní Bhriain.
The Golden Hours series is part of the Powers ‘Old But Gold’ campaign, which proudly champions Powers’ long and rich history and redefines what it means to be ‘old’ in today’s world. By bringing together traditional and contemporary artists, the series celebrates the origins of Irish music while looking ahead via a musical feast for the ears and one unforgettable experience. Powers Golden Hours has quickly established itself as a must-attend event for trad players and fans alike following hugely successful sessions in Dublin and Belfast before closing 2023 at Other Voices in Dingle. This not to be missed event takes place on Tuesday April 30th in Whelan’s – Dublin’s original live music venue and best indie nightclub.
