Jennifer McMahon is a singer, songwriter, producer, performer and creator from Dublin. Her original music straddles the borders of folk, soul and contemporary jazz and she has been likened to artists as diverse as Natalie LaFourcade, Bjork, Norah Jones and Jefferson Airplane.
A mainstay on the Dublin jazz scene for the past number of years, Jennifer performs her original music as well as repertoire from the jazz canon. She is keen to bring jazz to new audiences and is the founder of Irish Women in Jazz, highlighting and promoting women in jazz in Ireland.
Her debut album was recorded at Berklee College AKSS studio, where she completed a masters in music, and featured over 20 musicians from more than 10 countries. Part of The Whole received praise from The Irish Times and radio play across stations in Ireland. She is currently working on her upcoming EP, Willow.
Join Jennifer McMahon and her band for a night of original music both released and unreleased, as well as some favoured jazz standards. Joining her on the night will be pianist Cormac Kenny, bassist Eoin O’ Halloran and drummer Hugh Denman.
