He’s also graced the stages in the iconic INEC Arena, Cork Opera House, Connolly’s of Leap, Cyprus Avenue, the Royal Theatre Waterford, and Sea Church, sharing the spotlight with renowned artists like Hermitage Green, Mary Black, Ispíní na hÉireann, The Burma, The Pale, Corner Boy, and The Shoos. Now, Kevin and The Great Ideas are ready to headline Upstairs at Whelan’s for a performance you won’t want to miss!
Inspired by iconic artists such as Bob Dylan, Glen Hansard, Wilco, Tom Petty, and R.E.M., Kevin crafts a unique blend of Folk, Rock and a touch of Americana.

The phenomenal Chris Wilson D.C will be performing an amazing and powerful set. Chris is based in Dublin City, Influenced by 90’s Rock and 1960s Folk music. Taking notes from John Martyn, Neil Young, and Air.
With a signature sound that blends his beautiful voice with a high standard of unique guitar playing. Lyrics that can be cryptic and also very straightforward at times.
Selling out a headline show at Little Whelan’s, and recently opening for acts such as Nouvelle Vague, Sign Crushes Motorist, and Girl Puppy. Chris currently has a residency at The Blind Pig Speakeasy.
