Ken Deburca is an Irish musician who relocated from Dublin to settle in Berlin some years ago.
Starting out from an early age predominantly as a guitarist and songwriter for a number of bands throughout his teens and early twenties he eventually chose the solo route and ventured into the singer/songwriter world. His first and only full album ‘Middle Child Syndrome’ was released in 2010.
The move to Berlin provided an opportunity to establish Keller4 Tonstudio a semi-professional recording studio. In 2017 he wrote and directed ‘Subtitles’, an autobiographical short movie filmed in Berlin. In recent years producing, mixing and coaching for other artists in Berlin has become the priority although he will release a batch of new material in various forms this year with the assistance of Daniel Deburca at Jejune Records in Drogheda.
Ken will perform a double headline with his sister Lily in Whelan’s on May 1st and at Owen Traynors in Oldcastle on May 2nd.

Born and reared on the northside of Dublin and being the baby of the family, music was a big part of Lily’s upbringing and she was heavily influenced by the music her 6 older brothers and sisters listened to. Lily cut her teeth on the singer songwriter circuit in Dublin in the early 2000’s as her older brother, Ken ran a weekly Open Mic Night in the city centre. It was a magical time and Lily was blessed to have shared stage space with the best of Irish talent including, Declan O’Rourke, Damien Dempsey and Ann Scott to name but a few!
Lily has since relocated Cavan and now runs a monthly Open Mic Night in Oldcastle, Co. Meath. She was recently awarded funding by Cavan Arts Office to record her second album with Daniel Deburca in Jejune Records.
