Kampala are a 2-piece alternative rock band from Dublin and Kildare, Ireland. Bringing their own blend of a mixture of melodic and aggressive beat heavy rock. It feels new but with mileage, hooky but with complexity.
Lonely Lives, the debut single from Kampala, is a conscious effort to sonically recreate for the listener the natural environment in which the music was conceived and crafted into being. It was recorded in the band’s permanent studio in Ballymount and then produced, mixed and mastered by Irish indie-folk-jazz-rock veteran turned engineer and producer Hally at his Art House Studios in Naas, Co. Kildare, and is due for release in August 2022.
Lonely Lives is the first recording of Kampala’s upcoming debut EP.
