Band of Friends have announced they will embark on a live show in Whelans, Dublin on, 8th November 2021.   The show will be Celebrating Rory Gallagher’s 25th anniversary. Tickets are available from this Friday at 10 AM from, and WAV.

Band of Friends are:

Gerry McAvoy (Bassist) (Rory Gallagher/Nine Below zero/Champion Jack Dupree/Deep Joy)

Brendan O’Neill (Drums), Brendan played with Rory and Gerry for 10 years 1981 – 1991, Recording “Jinx”, “Defender”, “Fresh evidence”. Brendan toured extensively with Rory, travelling to USA, Japan, Australia, Europe.

Paul Rose (guitarist), Paul was picked by Rory out of 1000 young guitarists to win the Fender sponsored best guitarist competition.

Stephan Graf (guitarist,  Stephan has been playing with his own band Double vision, as a tribute to Rory. Stephan discovered Rory at a very early age. He really has the feel for Rory’s music.
