On Monday 11th April, David C Clements will release ‘Coast’, the 3rd single taken from his debut album The Longest Day In History. “I’m really happy with the response to the record so far. I love hearing people’s take on it both musically and lyrically. I don’t often give much away about the writing process when it comes to lyrics, for me it’s more interesting to let people take what they want from my songs. The songs take on a life of their own.”
The Longest Day In History was launched, to a packed room, at Limelight 1 in Belfast on 11th March, support on the night came from Callum Stewart and Luke Sital-Singh. “It certainly feels great to finally have people listening to the record, but there’s still so much I want to do with it”
David and his band have just returned from performing a week of shows at South by South West in Austin, TX. This was David’s first time in the USA “I loved the vibe of Austin and the festival was an experience. Every show was different, from a boat party on Ladybird Lake, to a sweaty rock shows in a small bar and everything in between. Our sound and the songs seemed to really connect with people out there. I’d love to get back out again at soon.”
You can listen to the new single
