Calvary with their festival sound of trumpet, cello and guitars bring their biggest live show to date through the doors of Whelans on Wednesday May 20th.After taking time in the studio under the guidance of their producer Phillip Magee (Kodaline, The Script), Calvary have recorded their first EP which is due for release in late 2015 and through their show at Whelans will provide you with an exclusive live performance of the soon to be released EP along with lots more new material.
Their lead singer Mark Campbell who recently embarked on a solo journey of songwriting, which led him throughout venues all around Ireland, culminating in his first international show at sold out venue in NYC at Columbia University has now brought his new material together with the band of talented musicians to a point where they have now been able to create a new unique and fascinating sound, with a beautiful blend of horn and string instruments.
