Bernard won the Harp Newcomer Comedy Award in 2000 and performed in the BBC Newcomer Awards the same year. He was chosen to perform in The Montreal Just for Laughs comedy festival in 2005 and also a regular at The Kilkenny Cats Laughs festival. His Edinburgh Fringe debut received a five star review from TheScotsman in 08. He co-wrote “TJ and TJ” sketches on Today FM and co-hosted the Breakfast with Bernard and Keith show on the Irish Radio Station i105107. More recently he has starred in “The Repubic of Telly” on RTE. Over the course of his increasingly successful career Bernard has developed a seriously impressive body of television work including Liffey Laugh (RTÉ), Naked Camera (RTÉ), Just for Laughs/The World Stands Up (Paramount),Newcomer Awards (BBC), The Cafe (RTÉ), Touching People (RTÉ), The Byrne Ultimatum (RTÉ), The Republic Of Telly (RTÉ), The Panel (RTÉ)
