Hot off the heels of touring sold-out stadiums with icon P!NK on her record-breaking, 10th highest grossing tour of all time in UK and Europe, Yorkshire trio BANG BANG ROMEO announce 16 UK/EU dates.

The announcement also follows the success of their own sold-out headline UK tour (Live Nation/Metropolis) which took in 15 dates up and down the UK to rave reviews. The band are known for their dramatic, theatrical performances and – always wanting to up their game – some dates on the 2020 tour will be seated and feature a string quartet to enrich the already magical quality of their live shows.

Throughout the summer the band impressed many of the world’s top promoters while performing at festivals including Reeperbahn (Germany), Rock Werchter (Belgium), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland) and Foire Aux Vins (France) supporting Sting – all were keen to get Bang Bang Romeo back to perform. In addition to the tour, bookings for 2020 are confirmed for some of the most prestigious festivals in the world including Eurosonic (Netherlands), SXSW (USA) and Mad Cool (Spain).
Overseas their German fan base is growing steadily and their packed out Reeperbahn showcase in Hamburg was testament to this; in addition the German press have been following their progress and International TV appearances have also been forthcoming. The band has been profiled on Welt der Wunder (German TV), RTS La 1ère (Swiss National Radio), Face Culture TV (Netherlands) along with 2fm (Ireland National Radio). This is in addition to two appearances on Sky TV’s flagship breakfast show ‘Sunrise’ in the UK in June and November.

Their latest single ‘Love Yourself’ is receiving radio play on BBC Radio 2, and Radio X and has streaming playlist support at Apple Music, Amazon and Deezer. The track is a collaboration with global artist Example who has a mammoth 15 UK Top 40 singles to his name, topping the charts with two #1 singles and a #1 album, Won’t Go Quietly. Bang Bang Romeo went into the studio with Example after meeting him at an event in London and with the chemistry between them all the song came together in a matter of hours.

Bang Bang Romeo released their much-anticipated debut album ‘A Heartbreaker’s Guide To The Galaxy’ on 1st November via Better Noise and it went straight into the iTunes Alternative Charts and iTunes Album Charts at #4 and #29 respectively.

Praise for BBR:
“Every once in a while, a voice emerges from the wilderness, packing more welly than a pile-driving power top. Step forward Anastasia ‘Stars’ Walker, the lead singer of pop-rock group Bang Bang Romeo, with a Richter-Scale shaking vocal range that doesn’t so much raise the roof as completely rip it off” Attitude Magazine

“I love these guys, really, really great band” Rylan, BBC Radio 2

“There’s something exciting about hearing a debut album that sounds so perfect for the moment. Global success is the only possible outcome.” Drunken Werewolf

“This is the kind of record you don’t just listen and dance along to, A Heartbreakers Guide To The Galaxy, is an album you’ll cry to, an album you’ll scream your lungs out to and, ultimately, one you won’t want to put down.” Pure Grain Audio

“Disco-influenced pop rock that you can’t help but want to dance to.” The Independent

“We’ve loved Bang Bang Romeo since their beginnings. From soulful blues and riffing heavy rock, to vulnerable pop ballads and stomping rock and roll. Bang Bang Romeo leave no territory untouched” Diva

“Grand, scintillating bar-rock that could open up the heavens based off the magnitude of Anastasia ‘Stars’ Walker’s voice alone” Billboard

“The most formidable front woman I’ve seen, talk about charisma, presence and a voice to match” Gordon Smart, Radio X

“They sound just like a Tarantino soundtrack” Huw Stephens, BBC Radio 1

“Gutsy rock and roll collides with Northern Soul” Steve Lamacq, BBC Radio 6

“Completely mind blowing” Louder Than War.

“Anastasia Walker’s earth shattering vocal possesses your undivided attention.” Clash Magazine

“Stadium-filling sounds don’t come more powerful than those out of Bang Bang Romeo. Thanks largely to vocalist Anastasia ‘Stars’ Walker’s once-in-a-blue-moon voice, this is a classic rock band coming for the big leagues in 2019.” Gigwise

“Slick, 60’s- inspired rock ‘n’ roll” Metro
