The core members of “Captain Magic” -a long standing Dublin based funk band- along with some fresh faces from the Dublin music scene, started a recording project in January, 2011

Army of Bandits.

Are a well cultured group with members hailing from Dublin, Cork, Cavan, Venezuela and Brazil, all sharing the same passion for creating and playing music for the people. Spawning pseudo-pop/rock, blues and funk, the Army of Bandits utilized the unique energies that stem from each of the member’s musical backgrounds

With the theme of involving any of their talented friends that could resonate along the momentum, they ended up creating a dynamic and distinctive sounding record that can be heard singing to itself and to all the little stories behind it.
