Whelan’s Upstairs
Short Back & Sides are a four-piece, indie-rock band from the West of Ireland, based in Dublin. Upon meeting in college, Rosa, Ciarán, and brothers Seán and Aodh were instantly drawn to each other’s shared interest in using lush
chord progressions and a unique use of timing and rhythm to create a sophisticated yet accessible alt pop sound.
The band have been diligently working on the release of their second single “Jaws” after the success of their debut “Park”. “Jaws” is set to drop across all streaming platforms on the 2nd of December, followed closely by its launch gig on the 8th in Upstairs Whelans, with support from their pals Search Results and Alli Matson-Murphy.
