Public Warning are a young energetic rock band from Ashbourne, Ireland. Formed in 2015 by Adam O’Dea (guitar and vocals), JP Roche (guitar), Robbie Szpara (bass) and Mark Tuite (drums and vocals) under the name “Undercover Distance”. The band started out covering pop rock tunes at local parades and school talent shows. Public Warning soon began writing original material, owing their influences to the greats of the Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys and The Black Keys. JP, Mark and Robbie grew up together on the same street, they met Adam in secondary school and soon discovered their sound. Their close friendship is the key to their songwriting and energy-fueled live performances. In December 2018 they released their first EP; the self-recorded “Film Club Was an Inside Job”.
