Spend the midnight hour upstairs in Dublin’s most iconic live music venue, Whelan’s, cutting a rug to the fuzzy acoustic indie rock stylings of your old pals Drying Weather. Entry is free before 10.30pm.

Formed in late 2019, Drying Weather is a four-piece band from Dublin. Over the course of the last few years they have been working with producer Eoin Whitfield (EHCO, Enemies) and released a series of singles, drawing praise from the likes of Kellii Scott (Failure) and Jordon Zadorozny (Blinker The Star).

Their original, fuzzy acoustic brand of alternative rock layered with vocal harmony and twinkling reverb adds up to a curiously addictive sound.

Having recently been featured as part of the Sound House Rising series, the band continues to hone their craft on the live circuit in Dublin, all the while gearing up for their first London headline show in November 2022.

Production on their debut album is well underway with the record expected to arrive in 2023.
