“An engaging raconteur with a mischievous smile as well as a very fine singer” (Americana UK) , Georgia Born, NYC/Nashville based Americana Artist, Kelley Swindall, has toured the US and now the UK ,for the better part of the decade w/ her brand of self taught & styled southern folk blues.

Equally, at home in a biker bar or under a proscenium arch, she takes the stage solo, armed w/ her moxie and an acoustic guitar, singing about the stuff classic country is made of: heartache, heartbreak, redemption, and revenge, all filtered through a sassily southern perspective, w/ equal parts humor and pathos.

Her debut studio album, “You Can Call Me Darlin’ If You Want” ,was released on NYC based Velvet Elk Records in September of 2020, to glowing reviews , with American Songwriter declaring “Swindall affirms her place with ‘You Can Call Me Darlin If You Want”. Country Music People (UK) gave the album 5 out 5 stars, and Americana UK urged “Don’t let this masterpiece pass you by” . “Darlin’” was then named to several US and UK publications end of year “best of” lists, and enjoyed the #1 position on Europe’s Hot Disc Top 40 charts for 6 consecutive weeks, as audiences took a shine to the strong and vulnerable female characters that grace the songs.

She has since toured the UK extensively, sharing the stage and supporting artists such as Billy Bragg, Jim Jones Revue, The Urban Voodoo Machine , Robert Vincent, and fellow New Yorker Jesse Malin .
2023 kicked off with a debut C2C festival appearance ,on the Barrelhouse Stage at London’s 02 Arena . The year also promises the release of new music , beginning with the vibey tarantinoesque rocker “Now
That the Good Is Gone”, a darkly western cinematic number, produced by Matt Chiavarelle (Courtney Love, Debbie Harry, Warren Zevon), out July of 2023.

Be sure to catch her this summer on the Twin Peaks stage at her Kendal Calling Festival debut ,on her headlining tour, or one of her other soon to be announced festival dates.
