Kampala are a 3 piece alternative rock band from Dublin and Kildare, Ireland. Bringing their own blend of a mixture of melodic and aggressive beat heavy rock. It feels new but with mileage, hooky but with complexity.
Heathen is the third single from Irish Alternative Trio. Kampala. It’s a groove-laden guitar fest that looks at the power of beauty and the related chaos it brings with it everywhere it goes.
Heathen is the first of 2 singles to be released before the end of the year recorded with Yannick Bernhardt at Vibesbuilder Studios in Dusseldorf. Kampala headed for Germany to record in March to try and soak up some of the sounds of their influences who have recorded there. The results were really positive.
Kampala will be launching this single in Whelan’s, Dublin on Sun July 23rd from 7pm.
