Hailing from Cork City in the South of Ireland, James Keegan has been capturing audiences all over Ireland with his soulful melodies and captivating storytelling, earning his credit as a prolific songwriter in the Irish scene. Rooted in acoustic folk Rock/pop, James had 3 singles reach No.1 in the Irish iTunes Charts in 2023
From gaining praise from Hot Press Magazine for his “soaring vocals” to gaining recognition from iconic Irish artists such as Damien Dempsey, James delivers an honest, inviting experience that deeply resonates with listeners.
The young singer-songwriter has been busy playing various gigs and support slots to well known artists/bands like Mundy and Cry Before Dawn along with playing headline shows in DeBarras Folk Club and the Whitehorse in Cork.
James has been working on a EP which is set to be released in September 2024 and he already has a host of festivals & shows booked for 2024, don’t miss out and catch him live on the Little Whelans stage.
