“A clever musician with stylish cover art and a slick vocal style, her blending of synths and storytelling is wonderfully compelling.” – Hotpress Magazine
“Helen Murray has one of those voices that takes you away and you immediately connect with it” – Gemma Bradley, BBC Introducing & BBC Across The Line
Cork-born and Dublin-based alternative R&B Pop artist Helen Murray has received critical acclaim for her previous releases, Thank You, Move Me, and Royalty by the likes of Nialler9, GoldenPlec, The Last Mixed Tape, BBC Introducing Across The Line, 98FM, Corks 96FM and many more.

Helen Murray’s alluring vocals, authentic lyrics and upbeat rhythms create an unusual dichotomy within her music. A clash between emotionally driven lyrics and uplifting beats. Helen Murray has created her own unique, bold and progressive sound merging influences of Neosoul, R&B, Pop and Electronic music to create an energetic and enticing experience. Her sound arises from childhood inspirations, N.E.R.D, Christina Aguilera, No Doubt, and more recent influences such as Lianne La Havas, Beyoncé, and Jessie Ware. It’s impossible to listen to Helen Murray’s music without hearing the influences of late 90’s early 00’s pop, r&b.
This is Helen Murray’s first headline show after a busy year of single releases, becoming a chosen act for Hotpress Magazine’s Homegrown Hero and a chosen performer for this year’s Ireland Music Week.
