Blending sounds of folk and home, Conleth McGeary has been pursuing the dream of making music which connects with people – both at home and away. Seeking inspiration from the likes of Dermot Kennedy, Amble and Ye Vagabonds, Conleth’s style has been created through years of graft as a solo musician across Ireland and the UK, touring both extensively. His popularity in the UK resulted in a sold-out headline show in Liverpool’s O2 Academy as well as support slots with Tom Clarke (The Enemy), The Coronas and Ryan McMullan.
In 2023, he relocated to the Middle East having attracted a sizable fanbase of expats in countries such as Bahrain and Qatar, playing in front of audiences of over 2,500 people in each.
His latest single ‘Distance’ garnered interest from various media outlets in UAE, performing live on Dubai One. This year, he is set to undertake his second headline tour of Ireland, and his first of Australia. He is also currently writing with artists such as John Courtidis (songwriter of ‘Head & Heart’ – the largest selling song of 2021) and Ryan Keen (Ed Sheeran, Noah Kahan, Leona Lewis)
