The North Sea are five lads from the capital’s north side. Comprising of Lee Carr on bass and Daragh Murphy on drums, Eoin Kenny takes centre stage, with guitarists Shane Monaghan and Gary Mackey completing the handsome quintet.

During one idyllic week in July, the band moved HQ to Black Box Studios, in the remote French countryside, to work with the acclaimed, Grammy Award winning David Odlum, who took both recording and mixing duties on their debut effort.

Feeling rejuvenated, the band returned home to immediately begin writing the follow-up, while playing select gigs around the country, with a view to releasing their first album in early 2014.
