The Dublin-based 7 piece, The Crayon Set, specialise in upbeat, alternative pop using a diverse range of instruments and vocal harmonies.

The band released their debut album in April 2013. It was co-produced by Nick Brine (Teenage Fanclub, Super Furry Animals) and was critically well received. Lead single ‘No.1 Fan’ received airplay on Today Fm and BBC Radio 6 amongst other stations.

The band have just finished recording their follow-up album, ‘Lost Languages’, with producer Gavin Glass. It is scheduled for release in mid-2017.

The Crayon Set are an accomplished live band and have played many top festivals including Indiependence, Camden Crawl, Sea Sessions, Vantastival & Hard Working Class Heroes. Their dynamic live shows feature tight vocal harmonies, instrument swapping and occasionally some giant inflatable crayons …

Praise for The Crayon Set album:
“The Crayon Set are as catchy as a virus. If you’re looking for the kind of purity in indie-pop that you thought had gone missing far too many years ago, then their debut album will see you so right you’ll never be wrong again”. Tony Clayton-Lea, The Irish Times

“Perfect Pop”.  Hot Press

“4/5. An indie orchestra favourably compared to the likes of Arcade Fire and Belle & Sebastian.” Mark Kavanagh, The Star

“This is an album packed with up-tempo infectious indie from a group with a gift for creating memorable hooks”.

Special Guests THE MOUNTAIN MAN BAND were formed in Galway 2014 by Declan Keane and Padraic Carter. They are an exciting two piece drums/guitar/vocals band heavily influenced by old blues music but with their own modern twist. They released their debut EP “Killer Wails” in November 2016. They are a formidable live experience not to be missed.
