Karlsruhe, Germany – After months of meticulous work in the studio, former lead singer of Giant Steps and Spree, Suzanne Savage, prepares to launch her solo album on September 5th in Dublin, upstairs at WHELANS.

Suzanne is possibly the definition of diversity in a musician: She has worked with musical royalty across a myriad of genres like jazz, rock, choral and classical music. Her performance highlights include SXSW, supporting Van Morrison (at his personal invitation), backing vocalist for Paul Brady and Elenor McEvoy, Jimmy Cobb (Miles Davis Quartet), soloist for The Florence Symphony Orchestra, RTE Concert Orchestra, Riverdance, and several international prize-winning tours with critically acclaimed choir New Dublin Voices (Dir. Bernie Sherlock), to name but a select few.

She is 2010 recipient of the Arts Council of N.Ireland´s SIAP Career Enhancement Scheme Award in association with Moving On Music.

It is no surprise then that she has been lauded by Hot Press (“A case of ‘How do you follow that?’”), The Belfast Telegraph, BBC Northern Ireland and Acoustic Magazine (U.K.).

Her album jellymould marks the first solo venture of a fine, multifaceted musician, but it sounds nothing like an artist’s first venture into their own music.

This is a carefully crafted work of art, the kind that can only emerge after years of diverse, challenging musical experience.

With her distinctive, beautiful voice, unique lyrics, and a team of incredible musicians backing her up, jellymould is a true tour de force that sets the bar for aspiring singer-songwriters that much higher.

Special guests: Support act are international multi-award winning choir NEW DUBLIN VOICES dir. Bernie Sherlock
