Like many exciting bands, Sub Motion was formed in 2009 whilst the members were still at school. So with few distractions (apart from homework) they worked together to begin to find their now well established, core, full bodied modern rock sound.

Almost six years later, with countless exciting live gigs under their belts, and with the introduction of a beautiful female vocal in 2013, Sub Motion are now heralded as one of the “Ones to Watch for 2015” by premier Dublin venue Whelans.

The last two years have seen the band playing the Button Factory, the RDS, headlining and selling out Whelans, appearing at the Vibe for Philo, working with the sublime producer James Darkin (Black Eyed Peas, Hozier and Fun Lovin Criminals) on their self-funded EP “Happy Little Bruises”, making a video for ‘Dust to Dust’, getting Air Play and generally fine tuning their on stage and recorded sound.

Today with an unparalleled, infectious, live energy throughout every show, Sub Motion is quickly rising through the ranks of the Dublin music scene.

If you haven’t already had the pleasure, check them out live, or follow the links below to discover a real gem and certainly One to Watch in 2015!
