Short Shorts are originally a two man band of childhood best friends Adam and Adrian, who just wanted to make music that no one had heard yet. Something unique but still catchy and worth the spin. And they did. Two years down the road – throw in a few radio and television appearances, write-ups, and featuring/hosting shows across the country, well you got yourself a good night out there friend!

Blending a mix of first-rate musicality and high quality entertainment the boys in shorts aim to make every performance an exclusive one. “No two shows are the same”. On top of this, why not sprinkle in the delectable taste of musical variety? These are the forces that drive Short Shorts behind their original creations. From funk and rock to jazz and pop, forget tasting, this rainbow is delivered in succulent audio waves.

With everything new comes the respect and homage to what came before. Classic and irreplaceable covers flavour the night all of which had a hand in forming the “golden” hits and music as we know today. Hear them revitalised by the artists they influenced.

Being a two-piece band is great and all, but it was time for the sound to change a little. To become more full. Now with a five piece band behind them, prepare for distinctive catchy originals and unforgettable covers heard the way they should be!

Short Shorts are bringing the full punch to the Upstairs stage in Whelans on the 6th of December. Though they hail from the Midlands, Dublin has made it their home for performing, and they can’t wait to give it a night to remember. Book your tickets ahead to save yourself a spot. And bring your finest shorts!
