“Stunning Irish/Scottish traditional music with a twist” MAVERICK
Nuala Kennedy grew up playing traditional music in Dundalk, Co.Louth, and honed her skills in Edinburgh Scotland where she attended art college. She is just returned from a year making music in Brooklyn New York. Tonight sees the launch of ‘Noble Stranger’ her third solo album released on Nashville’s Compass Records. Appearing live with her touring band, it’s going to be a party you don’t want to miss!

The Press on Nuala Kennedy
“Her spirit gravitates to the unusual, oddball and interesting, and her current band fits that bill; the unique music they make shows an amused modernism, cut to suit with creatively coloured minimalist phrasing and walloping conjunctions, and all played with a rippingly assured instrumental confidence.”Norman Chalmers
