The role of a singer-songwriter is a balancing act, the voice, the words, and the music, must be refined until everything clicks.  Many artists struggle to find their balance and establish their musical identity.  But there are others that emerge in full command of their craft, their identity and their music.  Mick Creaby is one of those artists.  His debut EP Somewherenearfaraway is a perfectly balanced showcase of sing along melodies paired with meticulously crafted lyrics.  Somewherenearfaraway heralds the arrival of a gifted talent, one whose music feels familiar in the best possible way while clearly defining its own direction.
