Luke Clerkin is a singer songwriter from Dublin. In order to really hone his craft, Luke played over 250 gigs all over Ireland in the year of 2015. This included slots at Electric Picnic and Body & Soul.
Luke has gone on to headline prestigious Dublin venues such as The Button Factory, Whelan’s and The Workman’s Club . He has also brought his music to international audiences playing festivals in LA and Scotland (Youbloom LA, Edinburgh Fringe), as well as a German tour in 2017
The summer of 2018 is set to be a very exciting time for Luke, as he will release his new EP ,’Second Starts’. ‘Second Starts’ was produced in Take Six Studios by Declan Legge (Soak, Jealous Of The Birds, Ciaran Lavery), and it was mastered by Aidan Foley (Damien Rice, The Frames, Van Morrison).
‘Will I Fly?’, the lead single from the EP is now available on iTunes, Spotify and Google Play.
‘Ink Written Messages’, the second track from the EP will be released exclusively to Spotify on May 11th. Luke will headline Whelan’s upstairs for the launch of the ‘Second Starts’ EP on June 23rd accompanied by a full band.
